Class Signup Policy – All classes and Girls Night Out must be paid in advance. We’ll happily accept a credit card number over the phone or you can come pay in person. There are a number of reasons for requiring prepayment: (1) Class size and the materials used for the class are limited. (2) Materials for the class are prepared in advanced. (3) If less than 3 people sign up for a class, it most likely will be cancelled. You are not required to pay when you are on a wait list until a space is actually available. Thanks for your understanding on this. We’re trying to be fair to everyone.
Class and Girls Night Out Cancellation Policy – Class and Girls Night Out fees are only refundable if you notify us at least one day before the class or Girls Night Out date or if we have to cancel. With sufficient notice, you can get a refund or a credit toward a future class. Also – although we try to give reminder calls before your class, sometimes it’s not possible, so please mark your calendar with class dates & don’t forget to come!
Classes are more fun in groups, so get together with your friends and family and try a new craft together.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Summer is a busy time and it seems many of you are out and about on Friday nights. We've had to cancel the last couple of scheduled Girls Nights due to lack of sign-ups. Our minimum number needed to hold a Girls Night Out is eight and we need those eight no later than 4 PM the day before. That's so we can give appropriate notice to those who might have signed up if we have to cancel. Please try not to wait until the last minute to sign up 'cause we hate having to disappoint you!

About Kids Kraft Too!
Summer is a time when we all try to find fun things for the kids/grandkids to do and we’re here to help! This summer we’ll be offering four mini-classes for kids beginning on July 15th and then once each week on alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays. These classes will be for fun and easy scrapping and/or stamping and craft projects and will be held on a drop-in basis (though it will be on a first come – first serve basis until our supplies for each project run out). The cool thing is…the fee for each project includes materials for the mini-class AND a project bag of materials to take home for more fun! We’re not setting ages here. We’ll let you decide if your young crafter is old/young enough to enjoy each project. (Can’t drop in and stay for the mini-class? Check with us after the class is over to see if there are extra materials that can be purchased to take home for the same $7.50 fee.) Check out the schedule below!

For a long time now many of you have admired the torn paper flag on StampBug's wall and asked if the layout was going to be a class. Well, I've decided to take you up on the challenge so....come make a flag and then put some great holiday pictures on your pages!

Soft colors and cute accents are featured in this card class using mostly Hero Arts clear stamps and yes, you get a Hero Arts clear stamp set with a retail value of $15 to use in class and then to take home with you! It'll be SO easy to make more of these cards on your own.
Watercolor III with Marilyn - Tuesday, July 22nd, 6 PM $20
New main images are the focus of each of these beautiful cards but they'll also use lots of the other Art Impressions stamps you might have purchased after Marilyn's other watercolor classes. Come refresh your technique...or learn it for the first time!

“Waterfall” Techniques with Wendy Hill – Saturday, July 26th, 10 AM $15
Don’t know if you’ve ever seen this technique that can be used on both scrapbook layouts or cards, but it’s really fun! Wendy will show you how to make a couple of variations of the “waterfall” and then you’ll know how to make them for your own projects…especially those on which you want to have room for lots of photos or sayings or stamped images or…whatever you want!
Creative Cards & Tote with Alona – Sunday, July 27th, 1 PM $25
This is SO cute and such a great value! Not only will you be making the cute scalloped edge tote with ribbon handles, but also the four cards that fit perfectly inside. This would be a terrific gift, or keep it for yourself and use it to hold the cards you need to send out each month (we are always looking for a way to be organized and on top of things, right?). You've gotta love it!

Another Quick & Easy class in which you'll make TWO two-page layouts celebrating those "lazy, hazy, crazy days of Summer". They'll be bright and fun and, best of all, quick and easy!
Marvelous Medallions with Marilyn – Tuesday, August 19th, 6 PM $33 (Fee includes a stamp set)
Come learn to make medallions with Marilyn! These medallions add a perfect accent to some terrific cards. You'll also have a clear stamp set from Impression Obsession to call your very own! There are twelve images in the set so it's very versatile and one you can use over and over again.
Blueprint for Fun! with Tammie – Sunday, August 24th, 1 PM $20
Tammie’s branching out into teaching a card class for us (did you know she made cards as well as scrapbook layouts?) and this one is really going to help in the process of planning and executing card designs and ideas. You’ll make SIX cards and have some terrific versatile sketches to help you plan and make more at home! Sometimes planning what to do is the hardest part. Tammie to the rescue!
Outlines Bleach Techniques with Becky – Thursday, August 28th, 6 PM $20
Another class being re-done as a result of special requests! We haven't done this one for a long time though you may have seen the Outlines Rubber Stamps sample board on our wall for a while now. It's a fun technique using very pretty floral stamps to make at least three cards. We will be using chlorine bleach gel so please be aware of this if you have a sensitivity to the odor. Oh...and wear old clothes or an apron...just in case!

ABOUT AGE REQUIREMENTS: Unless otherwise noted, scrappers and stampers must be at least 14 years old to take an adult class. Girls Night Out is for adults – at least 18 years old. Although we love children, please remember that classes are for adults. It’s not possible for us to accommodate little ones while you take a class or attend a Girls Night Out. Thanks!

A Reminder About Girls Night Out and Classes – It happens from time to time that we have a wait list for Girls Night Out and classes. Please, please call us if you are unable to attend either a Girls Night Out or class you’ve signed up for. We want to call our wait list if a space will be available. Don’t forget that if you don’t call to cancel by the day before for a class OR Girls Night Out, our policy states that your fee is non-refundable. We want to be fair to our instructors who spend time and money preparing for a set number of students and to anyone waiting at home and hoping for a call that a space is available.
Also important…PLEASE try to call as early as possible to sign up for either Girls Night Out or classes. Generally, if we don’t have the minimum number of students signed up for class at least two days before, the class will be cancelled. For a Girls Night Out, we need to know by the day before. So…if you’re thinking of coming, don’t put off signing up. We hate having to disappoint you by telling you we cancelled for lack of signups. We really appreciate your help with this! Thanks!
